Drone Company Expanding Again

A start-up company that launched aerial drone operations headquartered in Watervliet is now into satellite operations. They're not actually adding satellite service — as in space vehicles — they're just establishing new satellite service offices in both Grand Rapids and Lansing, effective immediately.

Reyna Price is Sales & Marketing Director for Great Lakes Drone Company of Watervliet and she says the firm is proud to announced new, more convenient and rapid response capabilities in both Grand Rapids and Lansing thanks to their satellite operations there.

Price says that over the past several weeks, Great Lakes Drone has been working with several FAA Certified Pilots, training them in the company's culture of quality and the administration of services, saying, "We are excited about the new opportunities these staffing levels will now allow." She adds, "The ability to service these areas with local pilots and visual observers keeps our priority of investing locally into the communities we serve."

While Great Lakes Drone Company LLC is a Michigan-based drone service provider, they increasingly have the ability to service the entire Great Lakes Region. The services they offer are, but are not limited to:

  • Aerial and video photography
  • Agricultural crop monitoring
  • Construction monitoring & surveys
  • Insurance claim inspections
  • Aerial thermal imaging and inspections
  • Missing animal searches
  • LIVE aerial feed capabilities
  • Aerial cinematography

The fledgling firm is dedicated to recognizing the client’s visual concepts and needs to produce the high-quality imagery required for their advertising, film, and inspection needs. You can learn more about their services online at www.greatlakesdronecompany.com.
