Grocer Delivery Deal Expanded to Stevensville

When Martin's Super Markets originally announced the roll out of a new online shopping service, local customers were disappointed to learn that the only stores taking part in the Groceries to Go opportunity were both in northern Indiana, and not here in Michigan's Great Southwest. That has now changed, and their Stevensville store is now offering up the same deal as the inaugural stores.

Previously available exclusively at the company’s Heritage Square Granger and Concord Elkhart locations, the service is now available in two additional market areas including here. The Martin’s store located at 1150 Husky Trail in Warsaw, Indiana is now part of the deal as well as the store at 5637 Cleveland Avenue in Stevensville.

Corporate officials say that the concept of Martin’s Groceries To Go is easy to use by following these steps:

  1. Log on to www.martinsgroceriestogo.com. Or, download the Martin’s Groceries-To-Go app for your smart phone.  Available for iPhone and Android devices
  2. Create an account
  3. Choose Martin’s Stevensville store as your preferred store when ordering locally
  4. Begin shopping by item name or category, shop via the weekly circular, or simply scan items from your pantry when you use the Groceries-To-Go app!
  5. Review order
  6. Choose an available day and time of pickup
  7. Pay for your order with a secure payment system built into the online site

Groceries-To-Go customers will receive an email confirmation once when their order has been received and once again when their order has been shopped by the store’s Personal Shoppers.

Upon customer arrival to pick up an order, they need only park in specially designated Groceries To Go parking spaces and then text or call the pickup ready number clearly visible on the signs. A Personal Shopper will bring out the customer’s groceries promptly, load them into the customer’s vehicle and in just a few minutes the customer is on his or her way home.

Amy McClellan is Martin's Vice President of Sales & Marketing. She reports that, “Customer response has been overwhelmingly positive.” She adds, “That’s the reason we didn’t want to delay in rolling out the service to two more stores. With participating stores centrally located in four large counties, there’s now a Groceries To Go location convenient to most shoppers. We have plans to continue adding stores in 2017.”

Customers should take note that pharmacy prescriptions, alcohol and tobacco products are not available for online ordering at any Martin's Super Markets location.
