The first step in resolving any problem one might face is to accurately understand the scope and scale of that problem. The key to a solution is knowledge and with that in mind Team Kinexus is rolling out a series of sector surveys in Michigan's Great Southwest, specifically designed to measure the health of our region’s high-demand industries. By turning directly to the experts who are impacted the most, Kinexus hopes to find the answers. The survey series will be focused selectively on the Manufacturing, Healthcare, Agriculture, and Hospitality industries and will provide information on key trends and performance within Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren Counties.
Todd Gustafson is Chief Executive Officer at Kinexus. He says, “We know that we have four high-demand industries that are fundamental to our region’s economic prosperity, but we wanted to take a deeper dive in understanding their current needs.” He points out that “Each sector survey will target the specific needs of each industry and will help us identify trends and barriers within them.”
The Manufacturing industry survey is the first survey to be launched and it is now open from today, May 5 to Thursday, May 26. All manufacturers in the tri-county area are encouraged to click this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MFGIndustry to take the very brief survey. Each survey will ask industry specific questions regarding talent needs, skills gaps, and barriers.

All company information will be kept totally confidential and all results will be presented in an aggregated format. In every case the identity of a firm or facility will be securely protected and remain anonymous in any publication or presentation upon the completion of the survey.
