Looking to Get Hitched? Call HaulMasters

Steve Morrow has been around cars and trucks for years. A huge Mopar fan, he's tinkered in and around the auto business as a hobby for a long time. Now, though, he's come full circle. He's gotten hitched. Well…he's certainly helping everyone else around town get hitched with his new business — HaulMasters.

Morrow…who is a veteran local police officer with many years of service…has purchased two acres just off the corner of Pipestone and M-139, and is in the process of making over one of several buildings on that site for his new custom truck accessories business. He and his father are remodeling the multiple bay building at the back of the property and will install several new lifts as he readies things for the business which is already up and running while the renovations continue.

HaulMasters features trailer hitch installations and repairs, truck bed liners for trucks, SUVs and RVs and more.

Morrow says that he's working to fill a gap in the market left when Taylor Rental departed the hitch business after their key installer retired. With a limited number of other opportunities, Morrow says he will fill the bill for truly affordable service in that sector with hitches, bed-liners, trailer repairs, trailer brakes, accessories, Weather Tec floor mats, specialty lighting and more.

HaulMasters is an authorized B&W Hitch installer, and also offers product lines from Reese, Draw-Tite, Curt and others. He also features gooseneck and fifth wheel-style hitches for pickup applications. His primary truck bed line is from Scorpion, which uses a high grade polyurethane spray coating that provides a protective barrier against surface damage, rust and corrosion. All sorts of custom work is also available from the new hitch center located at 1203 Pipestone Road in Benton Harbor across M-139 from Hasse's Towing. He can also fabricate new small trailers for interested parties.

Morrow bought the two acre parcel a couple of months ago and is remodeling the 3,000 square foot garage. He is also leasing space in a second building to Clark's Towing from the Niles area. That space is about 2,500 square feet. A third building right along Pipestone is available for lease. That 900 square foot building could be used for a nice office space or some similar operation according to Morrow. Interested parties can reach him at 269-519-4882. Two vacant homes on the site will be demolished soon, according to Morrow.

HaulMasters is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm and closed on the weekends. You can reach the business by phone at 269-769-3953.
