Overnight Pot Hole Repair on I-94

Looks like officials from the Michigan Department of Transportation are planning to follow through on their promise to fix pot holes identified by motorists across the state. The good news is, they're going to start the work immediately, and they will try to do the majority of it when traffic is at a minimum in the overnight hours.

MDOT crews will be dispatched to perform interstate highway repairs along I-94 resulting in some night-time single-lane closures between Mile Marker 28 in Benton Harbor and the Michigan/Indiana state line at New Buffalo beginning this evening, Thursday, February 11th and running through 12am Saturday morning, February 13th.

The overnight pot-hole patching operations in Berrien County will help to resolve some of the gaping holes caused by the freeze-thaw cycle that has brought a variety of weather to the region of Michigan's Great Southwest, resulting in rough patches of broken concrete and pock-marked asphalt in the region.

Here's MDOT's map detailing the area that could be affected by the rolling single-lane closures tonight and again Friday night as we head into the President's Day and Valentine's Holiday weekend ahead.
