Arts District Gets Rebel Cafe + Yoga

Adrienne White is notable in the region for her prowess in the art of yoga. Now, she’s upping her game in partnership with Luke Andresen to bring The Collective to the Benton Harbor Arts District.

The Collective is yoga + strength training in concert with an organic café all under one roof in the space that was the original home of Maddog 5/1 on Territorial Road in the city. Organized by the two, The Collective will be a collection of yoga teachers, strength training, massage and other healing practitioners side-by-side with The Rebel Café serving organic juice, smoothies, and a coffee bar.

The Collective opens Friday, July 1st and will feature $5 classes, organic juices, smoothies and free brewed coffee from Water Street Roasters in Kalamazoo all throughout the opening weekend of July 1st to the 3rd. You can find the full class schedule at www.rebelco-op.com, but some of the things you will find include Fundamental Flow on Friday at 9:30am, Power To The People strength training on Friday at 6pm, Meditation on Saturday at 10:30am, Grand Mere Outdoor Training on Saturday at 6pm and Restorative Yoga on Sunday at 5pm. The Rebel Café is open Monday through Friday from 7am til 2pm and Saturdays from 8am until 1pm. The Collective will also function as a community space and is available for rentals for a variety of events, as well as Kid’s Guitar lessons this summer on Tuesday afternoons. The Collective is located at 226-234 Territorial Road in the Benton Harbor Arts District.
