Harbor Country Chamber Rolls Out 2018 Visitors Guide

In a day and age when many people plan their vacation trips online with the myriad resources available through a couple clicks of the mouse, there are still many fans of hard-copy tour guides and among the very best you will ever find is the Harbor Country version right here in Michigan’s Great Southwest.

Thanks to a deep bench of artistic and professional marketing talent within the Harbor Country community itself, the home-grown guidebook is one you can put up against any other community in the nation for its sheer beauty. And, for those who insist electronic is best, there’s a full-blown online version of it at the Harbor Country Chamber of Commerce website as well.

The annual rite of passage is at hand when the guide hits the streets. The new 2018 Harbor Country Guide, “Find Your Own Trail,” serves as the official Visitors Guide for the area and as a business directory for the community.

Now in its 25th year, the Harbor Country Guide is produced locally by Chamber volunteers and staff with design and production assistance from Fusion Design of New Buffalo and Walsworth Printing of St. Joseph.

The guide is the official publication for the towns of New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Union Pier, Lakeside, Harbert, Sawyer, Michiana and Grand Beach.

Major distribution points for the guide include:

  • All 14 Michigan (MDOT) Welcome Centers
  • The South Bend International Airport
  • Union Station in Chicago
  • AAA Clubs throughout the Midwest
  • Local businesses and popular destinations like Journeyman Distillery, Sawyer Home & Garden Center, and The Acorn Theater.

It also serves as the in-room publication at premier lodging facilities including the Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, the Marina Grand Resort, the Harbor Grand, and nearly 500 vacation rental cottages along Lake Michigan.

Additional print copies of the Harbor Country Guide may be ordered through the Chamber’s website linked below, or by calling 269-469-5409. The digital version is available 24/7 at that link as well:
