Horizon Boosts Quarterly Dividend By 15.4-Percent

A two-cent hike in the quarterly dividend at Horizon Bancorp represents a more than 15-percent increased in that dividend which will be paid next month around this time.

Horizon Bancorp, bank holding company for Horizon Bank branches throughout Michigan’s Great Southwest and in Northwest Indiana, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved an increase in its quarterly dividend from 13-cents to 15-cents per share. That represents a 15.4-percent increase and a dividend yield of 1.99-percent based on the price per share of $30.16 as of the close of business on March 20, 2018. The forthcoming dividend will be paid on April 20, 2018 to shareholders of record on April 6, 2018.
