SCORE Time Shift

Existing businesses hoping to learn from seasoned veterans are asking questions...a lot of them.  As a result the local SCORE team has been forced to adjust the timing of their Business Growth TOOL BOX Seminar slated for Wednesday, October 30, 2013.  Perry Ballard has asked me to share with you the fact that the original 7pm start time has been rolled back to begin at 6:30pm at the Lincoln Township Library.

The original start times of earlier sessions in the series have been flirting with the library's normal closing time of 9pm, so the SCORE team will start earlier in hopes of getting everyone's questions answered in a timely manner.

The Time/People/Resources TOOL is designed to help existing business owners evalutate and improve their current use and allocation of those three, key resources by examining hiring practices, training & development, performance measurement, motivation, and improved business owner's time management.

Seminar leaders for the October 30th session include Alice Ford, retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 29-years in human resources, Judee Hopwood, president and owner of Williamson Employment Services, and Barney Whittier, retired after more than 40-years directing sales teams.

The huge spike in increased audience involvement at prior sessions in the Business Growth series forced organizers to rethink the start time.  The seminars are sponsored by the Women's Business Center of Cornerstone Alliance, Lincoln Township Library, South Haven Chamber of Commerce, and SCORE of Michigan's Great Southwest.

Registration information for this seminar (and upcoming operations and financial seminars as well) is available online by clicking: , the SCORE website.  Each specific, two-hour TOOL session is $40 and includes all materials.  The Lincoln Township Library, site of each seminar, is located at 2099 W. John Beers Road in Stevensville.
