State Fare and Provisions Opens in Sawyer

It didn't take the kitchen staff from the former Soe Cafe in Sawyer long to land on their feet.  Just yards away from their former employer along Red Arrow Highway in Sawyer the crew has established State Fare & Provisions...an American-style diner featuring the same farm fresh and local foods made in house as they were offering at the 9-year old Soe Cafe.

State Fare & Provisions opened up just days ago at 12856 Red Arrow Highway.  Their infant Facebook page does not include a phone number, and the e-mail I sent requesting information went unanswered throughout Sunday afternoon, so I don't have all of the details, but I've seen a couple of posts from friends who discovered the new spot and have raved over the sandwiches and homemade potato chips offered by the new restaurant.

State Fare & Provisions serves breakfast, brunch, burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches.  The posted hours are 7am until 2pm Monday through Thursday...Fridays from 7am until 10pm...and from 10am to 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Their online menu posted on Facebook reflects offerings of grass fed burgers...farm direct produce..."made-here" jams & jellies, and the option to dine-in or take-out.

Elsewhere on the menu you will find cheeseburgers, double cheesebugers...corndogs...grilled cheese sandwiches...ham & cheese fondue...a chicken meantball sub...hand cut french fries...mixed green salads...and sides that include pork rinds, house made chips, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and seasonal vegetables.

The breakfast menu, available from 7am until 11am daily, includes a Farmer's Breakfast, omelettes, biscuits & sausage gravy, pancakes, a breakfast burrito, buttermilk waffles, fruit bowls, eggs, toast, home fries, bacon or sausage, granola, oatmeal and more.

As I learn more, I'll get you updated information here on Moody on the Market.com.
