Renowned Restaurateur Launches New Venture

Rosanna Santaniello Murphy was born into the restaurant and hospitality business.  She and her family hold a sterling reputation in Michigan's Great Southwest for outstanding food and quality of customer service at their long-time home of Santaniello's Italian Restaurant and Glenlord Pizzeria. She and her family have become dedicated practitioners of creating a delightful dining experience always.

Having recently discovered a range of personal issues stemming from gluten, Rosanna has eliminated gluten products from her personal diet.  As a result of her heightened awareness, she has also discovered that fans of gluten-free products have very few local choices when it comes to desserts.  Rather than simply suffer through her lack of treats, the ever inventive restaurateur has decided to create her own home-based bakery business to resolve that issue once and for all.

Now anyone who knows Rosanna knows that she has already hit a home run with the name of her new business.  She has elected to name her new bakery business Gluten Free Goddess Baked Goods. She has teamed up with Jayme Surch, who she calls a baking genius.  The two will hand-craft gluten-free goodies for aficionados all across the region.

You have the perfect opportunity to taste test some of the first offerings from the Gluten Free Goddess kitchens this Friday and Saturday during the 1st Annual Mint Condition Barn Boutique being conducted at 3342 S. Cleveland Avenue in St. Joseph.  That shopping opportunity for gifts, decor and interesting finds including four of Rosanna's favorites will run Friday evening from 4pm until 8pm and again Saturday from 11am until 5pm.
