2014 Home Show Filling Up

If you are a business owner whose trade falls largely in the home, garden or leisure industry category and you haven't locked in your space at the 2014 Home, Garden & Leisure Show at Lake Michigan College next spring, your procrastination might leave you on the outside looking in!

Show organizers with the Southwestern Michigan Home Builder's Association tell me that space is rapidly being filled and we're approaching "last call" for entries from exhibitors eager to reach the hundreds of people who turn out for innovation and ideas every year for the big show.

The 34th Annual Southwestern Michigan Home, Garden & Leisure Show will take place in the LMC Mendel Center's Grand Upton Hall next April 11th, 12th, and 13th and space is approaching a premium capacity.  It's the opportunity to showcase your products and services to more than 1,600 motivated attendees looking to renovate their homes, begin spring garden and landscaping projects, and looking for new leisure activities in the playground of Michigan's Great Southwest.

Producers of the shows have conducted their research annually and report that 94% of those who turn out own their own home, with 90% of them in the 36 to 56+ age group.  A third of them earn from $25-to-$50-thousand dollars in annual household income...and nearly half earn in the $51-to-$150-thousand dollar range.

The show annually attracts these types of businesses offering up products and services:
  • Building & Remodeling Contractors
  • Kitchen & Bathroom designers
  • Interior Design & Decorating professionals
  • Furnishing & Accesories retailers
  • Green Living practitioners
  • Outdoor Living experts
  • Shopping & Lifestyle businesses
  • Financial & Professional Services providers

If you haven't already talked with the association or would like to contact them at your earliest convenience, please contact Jules Katz by e-mail at katzjules@gmail.com or by phone at 269-985-3941.  Don' wait until it's too late and there's no more room in the inn!
