Governor's Thanksgiving Message

Governor Rick Snyder did triple duty today in addition to his regular job.  First of all, he joined the crew at Focus: HOPE in Detroit packing meals for seniors alongside volunteers from AmeriCorps, Detroit Young Professionals, and State of Michigan employees.  (In reality, the video was taped last Saturday for his message.)  Secondarily, the Governor issued his annual Thanksgiving Greeting to the citizens of Michigan, which you can see by clicking the link below.  Finally, he issued a call to action to the people of Michigan encouraging them to follow his lead through the "Let's Do Something, Michigan" campaign.

The Governor's call to action leads you to the www.DoSomethingMichigan.com website to volunteer your time, talent and treasure to worthwhile causes.  He even gets in a plug for tomorrow's Detroit Lions game against the Green Bay Packers.
