American Craft Beer Week at the Livery

The arrival of Spring has brought a fabulous new Cafe menu to The Livery Microbrewery in the Benton Harbor Arts District. Along with it comes a 5-Course Dinner & Beer Pairing to celebrate American Craft Beer Week in mid-May.

Owner Leslie Pickell says that under the direction of Head Chef Catherine Smedley we can all look for new "hand-forged" creations using locally sourced meats, produce, cheese and "Oh, so much more!" The Livery's newsletter says if you want to see the new menu, you'll just have to head into the pub and try one of Catherine's new creations. It does tease with a "Menu Highlight of the Week," however, in the form of Cheese Plates (half or full orders available) featuring four outstanding Midwest cheeses, two meats, nuts, crostini and a mixed berry compote.

To mark the occasion of American Craft Beer Week, Leslie says they are celebrating with a 5-Course Dinner & Beer Pairing on Thursday, May 15th at 7pm. Cost is $70-per person or $65 for Mug Club Members.

The 1st Course (Appetizer) will feature Chorizo & Sweet Potato Empanadas
The 2nd Course offers Watermelon Gazpacho w/Pickled Watermelon Rind, and a Salad w/Smoked Paprika and Tangerine Vinaigrette.
The 3rd Course features Maple Sugar Dusted Fried Chicken with a Masa Waffle and Chipotle Cheese Sauce
The 4th Course is a Flank Steak with Chimichurri & Polenta
The 5th and final Course is a Dessert yet to be announced.

Tickets can be purchased at the Pub or by contacting Meredith@LiveryBrew.com for more information.
