4th Annual Party

Any time you can combine live music, good food and drink, a bunch of like-minded people, and a great cause you've got a winner. When you cap all of that off with a great organization like Cycle-Re-Cycle of Benton Harbor and hold the party at The Livery Microbrewery in the Arts District, you're (pun fully intended) "hitting for the cycle!"

Cycle-Re-Cycle, the non-profit bicycle shop across from Kinexus on Main Street in Benton harbor will conduct its 4th Annual Fundraiser Party from 7pm until 10pm this Saturday at the Livery, located at 190 5th Street in downtown Benton Harbor.

Price of admission is just $25.00 and the live music will be provided by Jimmy Fastiggi and Dan Deitrich. Food and beverages will accompany an auction of unique bicycles according to the organizers.

The Cycle-Re-Cycle Shop is situated behind the Citgo gasoline station across from Kinexus/Michigan Works! in the downtown district along Main Street. At that shop, volunteers routinely refurbish donated bicycles which are then sold at affordable prices to local residents. Adults and children incapable of affording a bicycle can also earn credits toward receipt of one by working at the shop to ultimately earn their own bike. C-R-C also conducts bicycle maintenance classes and other programming.

Shop hours at C-R-C run Wednesdays and Thursdays form 5pm to 9pm and Saturdays from 10am until 2pm. Additional information can be found online at www.cycle-re-cycle-swm.org or by e-mail at cycle.re.cycle.swm@gmail.com.
