SWM Communities Establish Trick or Treat Hours for 2017

Communities across the region have been working for several weeks to finalize official Trick or Treat times for Halloween 2017. Calls to every community in Berrien County have produced the results you see below, and other communities have been filled in where discovered.

The Benton Harbor-St. Joseph YMCA at 3665 Hollywood Road in St. Joseph is also hosting a free Trick or Treat alternative Trunk-A-Palooza Trunk or Treat event from 3pm until the party ends on Saturday, October 21st with free snacks, face painting, crafts, and more.

The Hartford Public Library is hosting the family fun, annual “Halloween Carnival” at the library on Saturday, October 28th from 1pm to 3pm. It’s free complete with games, prizes, food and fun for children of all ages will be offered, with costumes optional. It is a free event, and there will be a costume contest.

The Baroda Township Fire Dept. will be hosting an open house on Tuesday, October 31 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Baroda Fire Station on First Street in Baroda. There will be beverages and treats for children and parents alike, as well as safety materials for the children.

Additionally, there is this note: Local Chiropractor Dr. Tara Scharich is offering her 3rd Annual Halloween Candy BuyBack event as part of Operation Gratitude, wherein trick-or-treaters aged 2 to 18 can bring in excess, unopened, candy to Fully Alive Family Chiropractic and earn $1 for every pound donated up to 5 pounds, and all donated candy will be sent in care packages to troops stationed away from home. Candy will be collected at 2600 Lincoln Avenue in St. Joseph from 4pm until 6pm on both Monday and Tuesday, November 6th and 7th.
