Kuespert, whose business is headquartered in Niles, and has two high school daughters still attending the St. Joseph Public School system, fired up his fledgling firm in 1985 pretty much flying solo with one helper in the early days. Now, his crew is comprised of 12 full time staff members who operate out of one office and two warehouses and continues to grow exponentially with world-class, cutting-edge technology available for anyone who presses his team into action. That team of 12 brings more than 100 years of combined experience to the sound board and video switcher every day.

Ken tells me that they’ve just concluded their first year of a three year contract as key AV supplier for the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center, providing all of their Sound, Lighting and Video Services there. Ken and his wife Pam have been married for 19 years and they have two daughters, Abby who begins her Junior year at St. Joseph High School this fall, (and is an active member of the Average Joes Robotics team) and Emily who enters the 8th grade at Upton Junior High this fall, an avid competitor in horseback riding events.
