Welcoming Bronson of South Haven

When we rolled the calendar ahead a page at the turn of the New Year, the hospital that South Haven area residents have used for years officially changed to a new names and brand. What had been the South Haven Health System for years officially changed over to Bronson South Haven.

New Year’s days can be rather hectic for many reasons, so it wasn’t until a little more than a month later that South Haven leaders, area residents and Bronson Healthcare team members all gathered together for a community celebration last week in honor of Bronson South Haven.

The former South Haven Health System became Bronson South Haven on January 1, 2017. South Haven Mayor Robert Burr proclaimed February 8, 2017 as Bronson South Haven Day alongside Frank Sardone, president and CEO of Bronson Healthcare and Joanne Schroeder, chief operating officer of Bronson South Haven.

Whereas, these two extraordinary healthcare providers have taken the bold and imaginative step to become one, thus creating a regional health system to better serve all patients and families in this region; and

Whereas, South Haven Health System will be known to all as Bronson South Haven;
