2022 Brian Swiger Memorial Scholarship Available From TCP

Graduating seniors of Berrien County schools are now able to apply online for the Brian Swiger Memorial Scholarship from Twin City Players. Established in 1996, this scholarship is presented in memoriam of former TCP member Brian Swiger, who contributed in many ways to the nonprofit organization for ten years.

Brian was a special part of Twin City Players from age eight to age eighteen, and was an actor, a set builder, a light tech, and a stagehand. This scholarship offers funds of up to $1500 for students who have shown an interest in theatre-related activities during their academic careers. The money awarded to the winners can be used at whichever institution, university, accredited college, or trade school the recipient chooses.

Applications can be found at twincityplayers.org, or by calling 269-429-0400. Counselors at Berrien County schools also have information for interested students.
You can also mail applications to:
Twin City Players
PO Box 243
St. Joseph, MI 49085

Applications must be received no later than March 31, 2022.
The scholarship is awarded based upon school and community activities, TCP involvement, a GPA of 2.5 or better, and a short essay. Recipients will be announced in late May.
