In a sign of the season, the annual Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff’s Block Party is now set for Friday, July 11.
The Block Party serves as the kickoff event for the Krasl Art Fair, giving everyone a chance to celebrate with drink, food, music, and mingling. The Krasl Art Center says this year’s Block Party will feature locally-brewed beer, wine, food trucks, and music.
Starting at 5 p.m., Mike Struwin will kick off the night with an eclectic set of music including Americana, roots, folk, soul, jam, and even Reggae. Then, the evening’s headliner, Benton Harbor-based Sankofa, will keep everyone dancing all night with their blend of neo soul, R&B, hip hop, and funk.
General admission for the party is $10, and you can get tickets online at the event entrance.
Then Krasl invites everyone to join them for the 63rd Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff on July 12 and 13.
