Early extended forecasts for the coming Memorial Day weekend in Michigan's Great Southwest should sit well with event planners on the grounds at Lemon Creek Winery in Berrien Springs. With early forecast highs projected to be into the 70's it could be an ideal weather weekend at this juncture for Lemon Creek's 13th Annual Art & Wine Fair coming May 28th and 29th.
Lemon Creek's tradition dates back decades, and this newer celebration brings together art exhibits, live music in the vineyard, new wine releases, award-winning wine sampling, special sales offers, and great grilled foods from the Outdoor Kitchen team.
Exhibits will open at noon both Saturday and Sunday and close at 6pm with an array of different mediums being offered on the grounds of the winery including hand-crafted stained glass, jewelry, pottery, photography, and fine art paintings.
More than 32 years of experience in winemaking has elevated the wines of Lemon Creek to the award-winning art that they have become. The wines of Lemon Creek are 100-percent Estate grown and bottled, bringing great artisanal wines available for tasting during the event, including new wine releases and special sales offers and discounts.
Music will be provided by Keith Scott, a sizzling blues guitarist and one of Chicago's most vibrant musicians. A favorite performer at Lemon Creek, Keith will be jamming both Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. The Outdoor Kitchen crew will be serving up picnic-style foods, including Street Tacos, Teriyaki Chicken, corn and more. Plus, Zeno's Italian Ice will be available for purchase.
Planting Hope will be on site with container flowers & plans for sale with all proceeds going to the Southwest Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force.
