A 74-year-old Benton Harbor man has claimed his $128,166 prize from the Michigan Lottery for the Fantasy 5 drawing on May 7. Odell Smith says he purchased the winning ticket at Lambrecht’s on Niles Avenue in St. Joseph and checked the next day. Smith says he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him after getting a message to file a claim. He says he told the clerk that the Lottery machine was broken because it wouldn’t validate his ticket. Smith says he was in disbelief when he checked online to see he matched all the numbers, 07-15-20-29-32.
