If, as many experts will tell you in this modern day world of instant communications and electronic access to the world, “You’re only as good as your online presence,” then Wightman of Benton Harbor just stepped up their game dramatically.

Wightman is now inviting visitors to explore their newly re-engineered and dramatically redesigned website at gowightman.com. There’s a direct link to it below.

The architecture, engineering, environmental, and survey services company, with offices in Benton Harbor, Allegan, and Kalamazoo, has launched its new site to enhance service to clients and improve the depth of company information available to future clients and prospective employees.

Matt Davis, President of Wightman, says, “When planning this website, it was important that it tell the Wightman story of how we deliver value and solutions to clients and communities through our comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to service,” and adds, “In telling that story, we knew it was vital to not only to provide an overview of our services but also highlight projects and showcase our team of experts who make those projects successful.”

The company approached the development of the website as it does any project it works on for clients: In a spirit of collaboration.

According to Jamie Balkin, director of Marketing at Wightman, input was gathered from all areas of the company, supporting the guiding principle that the content and design express the company’s brand and values. She says, “Our company culture sets us apart from other professional services firms. This website communicates that both visually and in words – from our philosophy of how we partner with clients to how we collaborate as an internal team to deliver outstanding results.”

The research, design, and content development that went into creating the site provides a visually dynamic and more informative experience for clients, future clients, and prospective employees. Featured content sections include:

Much of the expanded website content highlights Wightman’s growing presence in Kalamazoo and Allegan, as well as newer services such as Reality Capture which includes high definition laser scanning and drone imaging services, GIS, landscape architecture, interior design, and planning.

Functional enhancements within the new website include:

The site is also fully responsive across all digital devices and major browsers and is compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. It is also flexible enough to accommodate future company growth and expansion.

Wightman partnered with LKF Marketing of Kalamazoo for site development. The LKF team created the site structure, navigation, visual impact, and behind-the-scenes functionality after extensive interviews and research with Wightman staff. Copywriting services were provided by Laura Kraklau – View 366 LLC of St. Joseph. Staff photography services were provided by David Knight Photography of St. Joseph. Bid tool development was provided by Brian Humes of Two Piers Interactive LLC of St. Joesph.
