For the second straight day, Berrien County has added 8 new positive results for coronavirus cases across the county, bringing the total count to 80, up 8 from yesterday’s count of 72, and 44 are now labeled as recovered in Berrien County as of today. Meanwhile, Van Buren County held steady with 18 cases, while Cass County added one for a total of 10 positive cases now. Berrien County has logged two deaths to date, with Cass and Van Buren still reporting one death each thus far in the pandemic.
Across Michigan, the tally stands at 21,504 statewide, up by 1,158 from yesterday, with 1,076 deaths from the virus, an increase of 117 from Wednesday.
