Berrien TRIAD Team to Present the Power of Positive Aging at AU Next Month

Baby Boomers and all their friends throughout Michigan’s Great Southwest are being rallied for the upcoming 4th Annual Senior Conference being dubbed The Power of Positive Aging to be hosted next month on the campus of Andrews University under the guiding hand of TRIAD of Berrien County.

If you are 60-years old or better, or know family, friends or colleagues in that age bracket, it’s a conference right in the proverbial sweet spot. The Senior Conference hosted by TRIAD, brings to Buller Hall at Andrews University a wide array of vendors with programs and services to help keep you safe and healthy.

The inspirational kick off with keynote speaker Jerry Price from the YMCA will send you into a several hours of individual breakout sessions on a host of relevant topics including things like:

  • Senior nutrition
  • Physical wellness
  • Non-opioid pain relief
  • Mental health wellness

Mark your calendar for September 19th from 10:00am-to-2:15pm. Registration begins at 9am that day. Space is limited, however, so you’ll want to reserve your seat soon to avoid being shut out. Lunch is guaranteed for those who are registered in advance, and they will need some details for your lunch voucher at registration check-in.

The Berrien County Chapter of TRIAD is backed by the national organization which partners with the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department. The focus of TRIAD is safety and the well-being of seniors.

The Power of Positive Aging will be staged in Buller Hall on the campus of Andrews University at 8488 E. Campus Circle Drive in Berrien Springs.
