BH Boost Mobile Cell Phone Store Robbed at Gunpoint for Fourth Time

We’re just learning today that two men held up the Boost Mobile Store on Pipestone in Benton Harbor last Sunday afternoon, and police are asking for the public’s help in finding the two to bring them to justice.

Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety Chief Dan McGinnis says that last Sunday, May 19th, 2019, at around 3:30 in the afternoon his department responded to a call for help at the Boost Mobile Store located at 957 Pipestone where two men had just robbed the store at gunpoint. The suspects entered the store and took an unknown number  of cell phones, along with an undetermined amount of cash from the store.

One of the suspects was a black male, standing approx. 6’1″ tall, with a slim build, and was wearing all black with the hood covering his face. The second suspect was a black male, standing approx. 5’9″ tall, with a medium build and was wearing all black with a white scarf around his face. One of the men was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and both suspects fled in a southerly direction from the store.

McGinnis says this is the fourth time in four years that the Boost Mobile store has been robbed and the police are asking for the community’s help.
