The Box Factory for the Arts is bring back the Makers Market. It returns on November 27, featuring a variety of wares from artisans. The Box Factory tells us more:

The Makers Market, a modern interpretation of the traditional craft fair, returns to the Box Factory for the Arts, 1101 Broad Street, as part of Small Business Saturday on November 27th. The event, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. will feature more than 40 artists on all three floors of the building. A $5 per person entry donation at the door supports programs at the Box Factory.

The Makers Market represents artists and artisans from local studios and workshops throughout the region. Hand-crafted gifts and goods will be available representing a variety of mediums including jewelry, ceramics, embroidery, knitting, leather, paper quilling, wood, candies, soap, and stone art.

Visitors to the Makers Market will also be able to view the current Annual Member Show, “Birds of a Feather,” in all four Box Factory galleries. Box Factory artists will welcome visitors to their studios. Snacks and a cash bar will be available throughout the day.

The event joins with other St. Joseph Today and local businesses in encouraging people to shop local and shop small for holiday gifts. For more on this and other Box Factory events, visit the website at www.boxfactoryforthearts.org or follow the Box on Facebook.
