Chef Turned Mortgage Advisor for UFCU

You might forgive Anthony Marko if he seems keenly interested in the kitchen portion of the home you come to him with in search of a mortgage rate. Marko has cashed in his apron for the suit and tie he now wears in his new role as Mortgage Advisor for United Federal Credit Union.

Anthony, who crossed over from his ten year stint as a Chef at the Grand Mere Inn of Stevensville a few years back, will now be cooking up mortgage deals for the St. Joseph-based credit union, providing financial counseling and product awareness to credit union members regarding their home financing needs.

Marko has actually been away from the grill for a while, having worked in the financial industry since 2013, serving as a member service advisor, licensed sales assistant and personal banker. He has a track record for matching customers with a recipe for the right loans due to his knowledge, expertise and ability to analyze the member’s needs.

It was prior to that beginning of his career in finance four years ago that Marko worked for the Racine family and avid fans of the popular restaurant. He is a member of the Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, and volunteers with the Championship Committee for the Senior PGA at Harbor Shores.
