Cornerstone Alliance Names New VP Of Business Development

Cornerstone Alliance has named a new vice president of business development. It says Andrew Haan is moving into the role from the Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership. Cornerstone Alliance filled us in:

Cornerstone Alliance, Berrien County’s lead economic development agency, announced today that it has named Andrew Haan as the Vice President of Business Development. Haan will lead Cornerstone alongside CEO, Rob Cleveland and Vice President, Christina Frank. In this role, Haan will play an imperative role in recruitment and retention of companies in Berrien County as well as management of economic and business development initiatives.

Andrew joins a team at Cornerstone Alliance whose diverse backgrounds and skillsets help businesses grow, create new jobs, attract new companies, and increase the local tax base. Andrew has devoted is professional life to West Michigan and we are grateful he’s continuing that service with Cornerstone Alliance.”

Haan brings 12 years of experience in downtown development, government and community relations, placemaking and economic development to the role. Before joining the Cornerstone team, Haan served as President of Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership, leading the community’s downtown place management and growth efforts. Haan holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University.
