If you are 18 or older and still searching for an appointment to get your COVID-19 vaccine, Spectrum Health Lakeland has announced that a number of appointments are available during a clinic this Thursday at the Niles Campus of Lake Michigan College.
The team at Spectrum Health Lakeland says that appointments are available for community members to receive the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine this Thursday, April 15th at the Lake Michigan College campus in Niles, located at 1905 Foundation Drive. Anyone 18 years and older can schedule a vaccination appointment by calling 269.927.5100 or by self-scheduling online at http://spectrumhealthlakeland.org/vaccine
A second dose of the Moderna vaccine is necessary to further boost the immune response and ensure long-term protection from COVID-19. Community members who receive their first dose at this week’s clinic will be scheduled for a second dose on Thursday, May 13th.
The COVID-19 vaccine is available at no out-of-pocket cost. Insurance is not required to register for a vaccination appointment. If you have insurance, you will be asked to provide that information when scheduling.
