The former Walgreens at Glenlord Road and Red Arrow Highway will become a combined Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. The company is planning to open 400 such stores in 2022. Lincoln Township building inspector Jim Pheifer confirms to the “Herald-Palladium” they have applied for an interior renovation permit. He is anticipating a summer opening. The Walgreens moved down Red Arrow Highway to a smaller drive-thru store last summer, two-tenths of a mile away.
