Four Winds New Buffalo has long been touted as a full-service resort complex. One key amenity present in virtually every full-service resort community is just days away from taking a bow in the form of a new outdoor pool and pool bar. The new facilities will be showcased on Monday, July 11th by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians who own and operate the Four Winds Casino properties across the region.
The new pool and bar will be located just outside of the Hard Rock Cafe at Four Winds, providing easy access from the hotel on site as well. Other new amenities being added are a full-service bar offering poolside food and drink service, a hot tub, fireplace, and two new fire pits.
Frank Freedman is Chief Operating Officer of Four Winds Casinos. He tells us, "The new outdoor pool, full-service bar, hot tub, fireplace, and fire pits are great additions to further enhance the resort experience for our guests that want to spend part of their stay enjoying the warmer weather.” He adds, “In addition, the area will be converted to a cocktail lounge in the evenings, offering unique ambiance to enjoy signature cocktails, wine and beer.”
The pool is 59 feet long and is 29 feet wide at its widest point. The pool and hot tub are open to hotel guests daily from 8am to 7pm. Accompanied minors can use the pool until 7pm. Pool accessories will be available at the Four Winds Outfitters retail shop. There will also be a lift chair for guests that need assistance accessing the pool and hot tub.
The Pool Bar will have 50 outdoor seats and is open to all casino guests. In the evenings, the area will be converted to a cocktail lounge with comfortable seating. The menu will feature signature cocktails such as a Strawberry Mint Daiquiri and a Rum Runner and a wide selection of beers. Guests can also choose from a wide array of snacks, wraps and salads, sliders, and hot dogs. The Pool Bar is open daily at 11am.
