Great Lakes Crafts to Host a Grand Opening of their New St. Joseph Storefront on Aug. 10

After a year of operating their business online, Brandon and Heather Woodward, owners of Great Lakes Crafts (GLC), are expanding their digital universe into a physical store in St. Joseph.

GLC is holding a grand opening for their new storefront on Saturday, August 10th, from 10am until 3pm.  The address is 3660 Niles Avenue in St. Joseph. They’ll be passing out FREE grilled hot dogs and doing a FREE giveaway, and encouraging the community to stop by to be a part of it.

“We offer a wide arrangement of custom ordered items along with premade inventory for our jewelry, knives, cutting blocks, along with paintings and more,” Heather says. “Our big thing as a company is we custom make and hand make unique individualized gifts for you, your friends, your family. We’re able to fully customize every item to the customer.”

Their impressive list of items can be found on their website: https://squareup.com/store/GreatLakesCrafts.  They will continue to sell their items online, as well as in their new storefront.

But, GLC does more than just handcraft their own items.  They give back to people in need in our community, from every single sale. And they do it in a big way.

“We donate 25% of all of our sales to help individuals in need in our community.  We have a son with special needs, and it’s important to us to give back to people who need the help. Our community is made up of individuals, and by helping people, we’re helping the community as a whole.”

GLC’s current hours of operation are 10am to 3pm, Monday through Saturday.  For more information, you can visit their Facebook page.
