Halloween Hold Up Comes to Light After Liquor Store is Robbed

We’re just learning about a Halloween night hold up at a Benton Harbor liquor store as police are hoping the public can help find the men responsible for the attack on Broadway.

The armed robbery at the H-and-B Liquor Store at 284 Broadway Avenue in the City of Benton Harbor on Halloween has been designated as the Michiana Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

Authorities say that at 8:37pm on Halloween night, October 31st, the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety was dispatched to H-and-B Liquors when two unknown men dressed from head to toe in black clothing entered the store flashing handguns. They were successful in getting the liquor store clerk to hand over an undetermined amount of cash before they fled the shop on foot.

Crime Stoppers wants the men responsible for the armed robbery and are offering to pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the hold up to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-342-STOP or to submit an anonymous tip online at the link below.
