If You’ve Got Artistic Talent, There’s a Local Competition Just For You in St. Joe

boxfactorymaac18

Every year we renew a striking opportunity in Michigan’s Great Southwest to discover some of the amazing talent in our midst thanks to an annual art competition hosted at the Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph designed purely for local artists. This year will mark the 16th year for what is called the Michiana Annual Art Competition or simply, the MAAC.

The Michiana Annual Art Competition is a local juried fine art exhibition intended to recognize, foster, and reward the excellence of top artists in Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. The MAAC is held in June each year at the Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph, and this will be the 16th year of success provided by the vision, energy, and generous funding by association members, and the community.

Entry dates for this year are April 9th through April 29th, 2018 and all entries must be submitted online. The MAAC show will be open to the public on Friday, June 15, 2018 through Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Box Factory for the Arts on the Broad Street hill in St. Joseph.
