Inaugural Ladies DIY Night in Eau Claire

The Eau Claire Fruit Exchange has been a key to the agricultural community of Michigan's Great Southwest for 90 years, but one thing they have never done before is host a DIY Night for Ladies. Well, that will change when they accomplish another bucket list item this week with their inaugural Do It Yourself Ladies Night on Wednesday, August 24th.

Heidi Miller tells me that showtime is 6:30 to 8pm that night and all supplies, food and refreshments will be provided to everyone taking part in the fun night on the town. All you have to do to reserve your place is give the Exchange a call at 269-461-6977. It will be a precursor to their huge annual End of Summer Sale which starts Friday morning at 8:30am.

The Eau Claire Fruit Exchange was founded in 1926 and can be found at 6486 W. Main Street in downtown Eau Claire.

During the DIY Ladies Night, staff and organizers will help guests create Mason Jar Room Fresheners, and all of the supplies will be provided to participants.

When the huge End of Summer Sale launches on Friday morning, the Exchange promises great deals, indoor games, prizes and food with the party continuing until 5:30pm, but the fun picks up again on Saturday from 8am until 2pm with festivities that day including outdoor kids games, and visits from members of the Miss Eau Claire/Sodus Queens Court including Toni Dunn, Anna Costanza, and George Smallbone helping out with the festivities. Free food and refreshments will be provided by the Eau Claire Fruit Exchange staff and management as they continue to celebrate their many years of service and the coming harvest season as well.
