Krasl Art Center’s (KAC) Annual Meeting and Evening of Art Opening Reception will take place this Friday, November 18. Hear annual updates from KAC’s Board President Brian Edlefson and Executive Director Tami Fauver starting at 6pm. Stay for a guest lecture on the significance of art in the community by Sharon and Emanuel Brown. Enjoy a preview of the 2022 Community ⇄ Members’ Show in the galleries – open throughout, from 6pm to 8 pm. All evening events are free & open to the public.
The evening opens with KAC’s annual meeting of the membership and a special public lecture by community leaders Emanuel & Sharon Brown, founders of the AFrican AMErican History & Literature Gallery. After the lecture, the Browns will select one exhibiting artist to receive the new Members’ Award. Celebrate the exhibition throughout the evening with a cash bar and lite bites.
