The arrival of the Southwest Michigan strawberry season is at hand, and the Morlock girls of Watervliet hope that one of your first stops will be their amazing farm stand on M-140 because they've added something totally new with a colorful new innovation they are calling Mo'e Pies, LLC.

Amanda Morlock-Fisher tells me that the family farm, JW Morlock & Girls have recently opened the farm stand for the 2016 season, and tomorrow, Friday, June 3rd, they will officially inaugurate their new enterprise Mo'e Pies, located inside the JW Morlock & Girls Farm Stand at 5000 North M-140 in Watervliet.

Mo'e Pies brings a whole new dimension to the farm stand wherein you will be able to buy their fresh fruit piled high on top of Sherman's vanilla ice cream and purchase their handmade mini pies. Each hand-crafted mini pie is a seasonal pie using fresh homegrown fruit directly from the family farm.

Amanda and her sisters Melissa and Stephanie encourage us all to try the Papa Mo Special, which is Sherman's ice cream with a handmade seasonal mini pie. The JW Morlock & Girls Farm Stand is open every day from 9am until 7pm, and you can experience Mo'e Pies every Friday through Monday from 11am until 7pm. As Amanda puts it, "We grow it, pick it, and now we scoop and bake it!" adding, "And, yes we even make the dough!"
