Moody on the Market 40 Under 40 Class of 2020 Revealed

Forty young professionals from across Michigan’s Great Southwest have a new “badge” to wear today as members of the 2020 Class of the Moody on the Market 40 Under 40 young professionals in our region, recognized for their contributions and leadership on multiple levels and becoming role models for the rest of the community.

They gain this recognition for the third year running thanks to the businesses who made this year’s campaign possible including major sponsors, Wightman, Kinexus Group, the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber, McGhee’s Heating & Air Conditioning, and Lake Michigan College with support from the Mason Jar Cafe, Starks Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, United Way of Southwest Michigan, and Schroeder Furniture.

The selection committee was Chaired by Brittany Grasley from United Federal Credit Union and included Sarah Spoonholtz from the SW Michigan Regional Chamber, Anna Murphy from United Way of Southwest Michigan, Michael Nixon from Andrews University, and they let me have one vote, as well. It was not an easy task.

The committee had some 84 nomination forms to consider, and that’s a stack of paper thicker than a couple of reams of paper with the details behind each nominee, their accomplishments, volunteerism, and well beyond.

The winners list is now on full display at the link below, and many are sharing their good fortune on social media today, so keep your eye out for lots of great news on the people making a difference in our collective communities. Here’s the access point for the list:
