Niles Avenue Concrete Repairs in Southtown SJ Start Monday

A few more orange barrels will dot your traffic route soon if you routinely travel Niles Avenue in the Southtown neighborhood of St. Joseph. The Michigan Department of Transportation says work begins Monday on repairs to M-63, also known as Niles Avenue, in the city of St. Joseph.

The project is slated to start on Monday, August 17th and be completed by Wednesday, September 30th.

MDOT will be making concrete pavement repairs on 1.1 miles of M-63 (Niles Avenue) from south of Midway Avenue to south of Winchester Avenue in the Southtown neighborhood.

One lane will be open in each direction throughout the construction period.
