Planes, Pancakes, Blueberries & Cars

For more than four decades, Rotarians in South Haven have been bringing together airplanes, classic cars and pancakes as a part of the National Blueberry Festival. In fact…it has become the organization's primary fundraiser. Fans of the big event are invited to the South Haven Rotary Club's 44th Annual Fly-in Pancake Breakfast & Classic Car Show on Sunday, August 14th from 7am until noon.

The show and breakfast will all take place at the South Haven Regional Airport located at 73020 County Road 380 in South Haven. As part of the National Blueberry Festival, the success of the great tradition has paved the way for the club's support of local, regional and international initiative through service projects and grants. Last year alone those donations made by the Rotary totaled $35,966.

Visitors to the South Haven Regional Airport that day will be treated to a display of antique airplanes, as well as B25 and B1 plane rides and tethered hot-air balloon rides alongside the classic car show.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast will feature pancakes, eggs, sausages, fresh blueberries and beverages at a cost of $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for children under the age of 5. Make plans now to enjoy the Blueberry Festival and the 44th Annual Fly-in and Pancake Breakfast.
