Pulmonologist, ENT specialist added to Spectrum Health Lakeland staff

Spectrum Health Lakeland on Tuesday announced the addition of two new specialists – Pulmonologist Jeffrey Grondin, M.D. and Shannon Arader, PA – to their medical staff.

Grondin is seeing patients alongside the two other board-certified pulmonary specialists at Lakeland Pulmonology, 3950 Hollywood Road, Suite 280 in St. Joseph. Arader is seeing patients alongside three ear, nose, and throat physician specialists and four advance practitioners at Spectrum Health Lakeland Ear, Nose & Throat with office locations in Niles and St. Joseph.

Grondin completed a pulmonary/critical care fellowship and internal medicine residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Prior to joining Spectrum Health Lakeland, Grondin worked in pulmonary/critical care medicine at Rush Foundation Hospital in Mississippi, where he also served as medical director of intensive care. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.

“Following the heights of COVID-19, individuals are taking more notice of their lung and breathing complications, and we encourage them to seek help sooner,” said Grondin. “When I meet with my patients my main objective is to thoroughly understand their concerns and find a treatment that best fits their care goals.”
