Round Barn Winery Ready and Jammin’ in the Vineyard

You know we’re officially “on island time,” or slipping into a summer frame of mind when the crew at Round Barn Winery launches their “Jammin’ in the Vineyard” outdoor concert series and we are officially there.

Round Barn kicked off the 26th Annual summer season series back on Saturday, May 5 with a special Sangria Party to celebrate the launch of their new Weekend White Sangria. But don’t panic if your missed that inaugural run because the whole Jammin’ in the Vineyard” series continues every Saturday and Sunday through October 27th, featuring live music from two musical acts each day on an outdoor stage adjacent to the vineyard.

On Saturday, May 26th, the specially themed events continue with an Island Spirit Party to mark the Memorial Day weekend, featuring Round Barn’s growing line of hand-crafted spirits.

Sponsored by Honor Credit Union, “Jammin’ in the Vineyard” concerts will be held from 11 am – 7 pm EST. The May 28, July 2 and September 3 events will be held from noon – 6 pm EST.

Individual admission to “Jammin’ in the Vineyard” is $5 per person. Season passes are available for $15 for the general public, $10 for Round Barn Mug Club members or free for Wine Club members. Guests are invited to bring their own chairs, blankets and sun umbrellas for lawn seating during all “Jammin’ in the Vineyard” events.

Saturday, May 26 & Sunday, May 27: Island Spirit Party

Get tropical with Round Barn Distillery cocktails at Jammin’ in the Vineyard’s Island Spirit Party! A perfect time to celebrate Round Barn’s growing line of hand-crafted spirits including DiVine Vodka, Red Sky Rum, Blue Flame Agave, 269 Gin, Baroda Bourbon and Berrien Ridge Whisky.

Zion Lion: Saturday, May 26 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

Michigan’s favorite reggae artists join together in Zion Lion, Kalamazoo’s premier purveyors of island-flavored chill. The group offers up the right mix of reggae, African zouk and mucosa with Afro-Latin influences.

Whistle Pigs: Saturday, May 26 | 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. EST

South Bend’s The Whistle Pigs have shared the stage with everyone from the Temptations and The Supremes to The Byrds and War.

Pandemonium!: Sunday, May 27 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

The official music of cocktail hour is Pandemonium! Grab a drink and get ready to throw down for this Chicagoland steel drum band.

Top Secret Band: Sunday, May 27 | 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST

Jammin’ at festivals and summer concerts for 11 years, Top Secret Band’s train keeps rollin’ on with their rockin’ good time!

Saturday, June 2: Wine & Wags Fundraiser

Five local shelters and rescue organizations will be on hand promoting adoption of their furry friends at Jammin’ in the Vineyard’s Wine & Wags Fundraiser. People are encouraged to bring their dogs, enjoy some wine, stay for the music and possibly leave with a new best friend! All gate proceeds will be donated to participating shelters and rescue organizations.

Memphis Underground: 1 p.m.  – 3 p.m. EST

People will be shaking their groove thing when South Bend’s high-energy dance band, Memphis Underground, takes the stage with a variety of tunes from Elvis to Motown.

Size Matters: 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

Size Matters’ rock ‘n roll band covers range from Blondie to INXS and AC/DC and The Doors.

Saturday, June 30 & Sunday, July 1: Red, Whites & Brews

Round Barn Brewery’s fresh craft beers and a high-energy lineup of four dance bands will be on tap for Jammin’ in the Vineyard Red, Whites & Brews. Enjoy craft brews on draft, live music from local bands, wine, cocktails and more. Don’t forget to stock up for 4th of July barbecues with a growler or brews.

The Remedy: Saturday, June 30 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

A fixture in Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan, The Remedy will start off the holiday weekend with their shredding riffs and soaring harmonies for a great performance.

Top Secret Band: Saturday, June 30 | 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

Top Secret Band has been performing at festivals and summer concerts for the last 11 years and their train keeps rolling on with rockin’ good times!

Rebecca Anne Band: Sunday, July 1 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

A Jammin’ in the Vineyard’s favorite, Crown Point’s Rebecca Anne Band brings everyone to their feet every time they take the stage.

Run Forrest Run: Sunday, July 1 | 3:40 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST

Run Forrest Run is one of Chicago’s premier bands, known for their diverse array of medleys featuring songs from The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson, taking the audience on a generational tour of music genres.

Saturday, July 14 & Sunday, July 15: Barodeo!

Back for a second year, Round Barn has corralled the best country crooners this side of the Mississippi for Jammin’ in the Vineyard Barodeo!

High Noon: Saturday, July 14 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

One of the region’s most recognized and accomplished bands, High Noon will be performing all types of country music from old-time standards to today’s chart-toppers and some foot-stomping originals.

South City Revival: Saturday, July 14 | 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

South City Revival will bring their bear-hug embrace of traditional American music to the Barodeo!

Ethan Bell Band: Sunday, July 15 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

In the style of Zac Brown Band and Florida Georgia Line, Chicago’s Ethan Bell Band will be showcasing their creative cover mashups and original songs that blur the line between country, pop and hip-hop.

Cowboy Jukebox: Sunday, July 15 | 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST

Cowboy Jukebox, a Chicago based band, consists of five country-at-heart musicians ready to saddle up for great time.

Saturday, July 28 & Sunday, July 29: Maker’s Market

Toast Southwest Michigan’s best local artisans for an afternoon of al fresco shopping, sipping, and music at Jammin’ in the Vineyard Maker’s Market.

Sunnyside Up: Saturday, July 28 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

Named a “Best Of Chicago,” Sunnyside Up will bring their straight up bluegrass and toe-tapping two-step to Jammin’ in the Vineyard.

The Leadfoot Trio: Saturday, July 28 | 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

Combining a love of bluegrass with early urban influences of rock, The Leadfoot Trio will showcase their spirited post-bluegrass style.

Anderlik, Otto and Church: Sunday, July 29 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

With a repertoire that ranges from progressive bluegrass to classic rock and blues, Anderlik, Otto and Church is sure to deliver an entertaining show.

Fox Crossing Stringband: Sunday, July 29 | 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST

Exploding on the scene at Winter Roots Festival 2017, the lively Fox Crossing Stringband has everyone chasing these foxes for their new bluegrass sound.

Saturday, August 18 & Sunday, August 19: 26th Annual Harvest Party

The biggest party of the year, Jammin’ in the Vineyard 26th Annual Harvest Party celebrates the harvest in southwest Michigan’s wine country with great local bands, delicious wine and tasty food. Grab a lawn chair, craft a picnic and enjoy.

JGJ Band: Saturday, August 18 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

With their acoustic guitars, percussion, keyboard and more, JGJ Band takes the favorite hits of the 1960’s through 2000’s and makes them their own.

Six to Midnight: Saturday, August 18 | 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

This Chicago cover band, Six to Midnight, joins the summer concert lineup covering songs from Michael Jackson to Green Day and everyone in between.

Memphis Underground: Sunday, August 19 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

People will be shaking their groove thing when South Bend’s high-energy 7-piece dance band, Memphis Underground takes the stage with tunes from Elvis to Motown.

Semple: Sunday, August 19 | 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST

Semple’s original music and high-energy stage performance is sure to be a highlight of the summer at Jammin’ in the Vineyard’s 26th Annual Harvest Party.

Saturday, September 1 & Sunday, September 2: Fruits of Labor

With Labor Day marking the end of summer, Jammin’ in the Vineyard’s Fruits of Labor will celebrate with a rockin’ two-day toast to another great lakeside summer.

Rebecca Anne Band: Saturday, September 1 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

A Jammin’ in the Vineyard’s favorite, Crown Point’s Rebecca Anne Band brings everyone to their feet every time they take the stage.

Pop Cult: Saturday, September 1 | 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

Pop Cult covers chart-topping songs that span the decades and are sure to get everyone dancing and jamming on a journey from early Motown to today’s hottest dance hits.

Slim Gypsy Baggage: Sunday, September 2 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

Join St. Joseph’s Slim Gypsy Baggage as they travel through many genres while maintaining that uniquely soulful vibe that Southwest Michigan loves.

Top Secret Band: Sunday, September 2 | 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST

Saturday, September 8: Fast & Curious

Come out for hot cars and cool tunes in the pavilion beside one of southwest Michigan’s most beautiful vineyards at Jammin’ in the Vineyard Fast & Curious. Showcasing cars of all makes and models, everyone is welcome to show off the car they’ve fixed-up, souped-up and refurbished.

Jeff Robinson: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

Grab a cocktail and enjoy LaPorte’s favorite crooner, Jeff Robinson.

The Wayouts: 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST

Don’t miss Chicago’s best 60’s garage band: The Wayouts. They strike a balance between nostalgia and innovation for a show of raw intensity and excellent performance.

Saturday, September 29: Easy Riders and Pork Sliders

Die-hard biker enthusiasts and the weekend riders alike are welcome for the Hog Roast and Biker Rally with a smokin’ side of rock ‘n roll concert at Jammin’ in the Vineyard Easy Riders and Pork Sliders.

Murph: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

Known as a ‘musical encyclopedia,’ Murph is bringing his awe-inspiring music and vocal versatility to Jammin’ in the Vineyard Easy Riders and Pork Sliders.

Parallel Hope: 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

Michiana’s Parallel Hope join Round Barn with the powerful vocals of Miss Hopey fronting the acoustic sounds of favorite tunes, both old and new.

Saturday, October 27: Hallowine Party

No tricks, just treats of wine, spirits, and beers on tap for Jammin’ in the Vineyard Hallowine Party. Dress in costume and eat, drink and be scary.

Steve Foresman: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST

Whether he’s rockin’ on his electric guitar or singing a moody ballad, no one delivers from the stage quite like Steve.

JGJ Band: 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. EST

With their acoustic guitars, percussion, keyboard and more JGJ Band takes the favorite hits of the 1960’s through 2000’s and makes them their own.

Two musical acts will perform each day on an open-air state adjacent to the vineyard. Season Passes are available for $15 (just $10 for Mug Club members or free to Wine Club members) or individual admission is $5 per person. Ample parking is available on the estate.
