The South Haven Theatre Series presents historian Leslie Goddard in “Becoming Queen Elizabeth II” on Saturday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Listiak Auditorium of South Haven High School, 600 Elkenburg Street, South Haven, Mich. 49090.

Purchase tickets on-line. Tickets ($15) will also sold at the door one-half-hour before curtain.

In an historical portrayal, Leslie Goddard, Ph.D., explores the life of Britain’s most

famous and least known longest reigning monarch in a portrayal from Queen Elizabeth’s childhood to throne. She will explore the queen’s life from the abdication of her uncle, her

marriage to a navy officer named Philip, her World War II service, and her struggle to balance her roles as queen and mother.

Get to know the mystery behind the woman versus the tabloid images, her sense of humor and savvy intelligence. See firsthand how she has met her matches from

Churchill to Trump while balancing public drama amongst her family and her royal duties as the Queen.

The South Haven Theatre Series is supported by the South Haven Community Foundation and generous supporters of the arts.
