Silver Milestone for Coloma Vet

Even Doctors Alan & Christy Stockdale might have rolled their eyes at you two-and-a-half decades ago when they decided to open up shop as the new kids in town at the Wil-O-Paw Animal Hospital on Paw Paw Lake Road in Coloma. Now, however, 25-years later they are gearing up for their silver anniversary on April Fools Day.

Friday, April 1st, 2016 will mark that noteworthy milestone for the Veterinarian couple, and they hope that clients both past and present will join in the celebration.

If, however, every one of those clients (past and present) elect to show up at the same time, they're going to need traffic control officers and a record-breaking cake, inasmuch as they currently have more than 3,000 patients in their care.

The Doctors Stockdale opened for business on April 1st in 1991 at the same location they still call home. At that time, the building housed one exam room and one other employee. Since that time, the Wil-O-Paw Animal Hospital building has been expanded twice, they have added a third full-time Veterinarian — Dr. Kim Case — a full-service grooming facility and two more exam rooms. Oh…and they currently have 19 employees on staff. That is exponential growth!
