Delighted by the success of their virtual Mother’s Day Tribute, the St. Joseph Municipal Band is prepping an encore for your Memorial Day enjoyment.
Greg Grothous from the City of St. Joseph says that the planned encore performance online will be designed to honor service members who have given their lives for a grateful nation over the course of many years.
The concert, which will be available online at the band’s YouTube Channel beginning at noon tomorrow, Saturday, May 23rd, will consist of the band performing “Band of Gold” recorded in a previous season, as well as new virtual performances of “Ashokan Farewell” and “You’re a Grand Old Flag” by the band’s Brass Quintet.
