Spectrum Health Lakeland Acquires New Primary Care Practice in St. Joseph

The team at what was long known as Lakeside Healthcare Specialists has a new name, and new ownership. The team of Doctors Deskins, Gosling, Hinckley and Smalley is now known as Lakeland Primary Care, Royalton and has been acquired by Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Lakeside Healthcare Specialists recently became a Lakeland Medical Practice with the new name of Lakeland Primary Care, Royalton. The practice is located at 3950 Hollywood Road in Suite 270, and offers patients access to the team of four board-certified physicians.

Sharon Deskins, MD, John Gosling, MD, Alexander Hinckley, DO, and Mark Smalley, DO, will care for the general medical needs of adult patients. The practice is also home to Lakeland’s internal medicine residency program.

James Savoie serves as Director of Primary Care Services for Spectrum Health Lakeland. Savoie says, “As a Lakeland Medical Practice, patients have access to a wide array of care from a reputable, top 15 health system,”and adds, “This most recent acquisition preserves Lakeland’s mission to enhance health, expand primary care access, and serve all members of our community.”
