There’s a New “E” Aboard the ELH Detailing Team in Bridgman

There’s a new full-time “E” on board with the Bridgman-based team of ELH Detailing, and he’s becoming the official boss man in charge at the top notch vehicle detailer. More importantly, he’s working to take the team in a new direction bringing interested customers a wider range of options including the future potential to do it yourself with some of the same professional materials they use.

ELH Detailing, founded by Ed Hojara of Bridgman has been servicing vehicle owners across Michigan’s Great Southwest for nearly seven years now, and “Enjoyed every second of it,” but, he adds, “We always wanted to give our customers more than just a detail.” His son Eddie is the new “E” in ELH Detailing, and dad says, “Now with the right personnel who are passionate about the industry they work in every single day, we can begin venturing into providing more and higher quality services to our customers.”

By way of explanation, Hojara says, “As of now, ELH will be offering multiple different protection services to our menu that will not only help keep your vehicle looking fresh but will be protected with the right products so you can be at ease while driving either your daily driver or the car you value the most.”

Hojara reminds everyone that keeping your car protected is an important step in retaining that lovely shine but adds those who are applying the product are just as important. That’s why he suggests, “When using these products, you want experience and at ELH all of our detailers have 3-to-5 years of experience working in the detailing industry. By the end of 2019, all of our detailers will be certified after attending classes specified to the industry.”

At ELH, located along Red Arrow Highway on the north side of Bridgman, the new services that have been added to the menu include:

  • Carpet and fabric protection
  • Leather protection
  • Rim coatings
  • Glass coatings

All of those new services will have 2 options regarding products that can be used, one being more durable and longer lasting than the other.

Hojara says that carpet & fabric protection is a service that can be added on top of an interior detail to help keep your car looking as good as it did once you picked it up from our shop after a detail. The service will include protecting any type of carpet or upholstery that your vehicle might have in the interior. Depending on the product that fits best, protection can last up to 2 years, because once applied, the products create a strong barrier over your carpet or upholstery to instantly bead any type of liquid that might be spilled on it. The benefits of that product include preventing stains, it blocks embedding containment, and will maintain a new look for the foreseeable future. He says, “Now instead of having to use multiple different products and techniques to remove a stain, all you have to do is wipe with a damp cloth.”

Looking at his new leather protection, Hojara says it’s great for vehicles that have majority leather and plastic instead of fabric, due to the vulnerability that leather has to fading or cracking from consistent exposure to the sun’s UV rays. He contends, “By adding that service to your package, we can rejuvenate faded leather and plastic and give it the protection it needs to resist fading again.” Leather protection has similar properties to fabric protection and will instantly bead up any liquids or soils to resist stains, dye transfers, and any fading or cracking. It’s a service is not going to wear off in less than six months like some products, instead keeping your vehicle’s leather looking new up to 3 years.

ELH’s new glass and rim coatings are the final contingent of the four new protection services they are offering for now, but Ed maintains that “they are certainly just as important.” He says, “Getting a coating on your glass is almost essential for the sheer volume of rain and snow that Michigan receives over the span of the year.” He says, “Instead of having to struggle while driving in the rain or snow make it easy on yourself and have a coating applied. Once the product is applied and cured, the use of your wipers will be at a minimum, because a glass coating leaves a hydrophobic property that will make rain, snow, or mud instantly shed right off your windshield or windows for great clarity.” He says the same goes for rim coatings as they are essential for keeping prized rims looking like the day you got them, helping to keep the rims protected from brake dust build up and micro-marring.

The team at ELH Detailing at 9460 Red Arrow Highway in Bridgman has pledged to continue to upgrade services to the motoring public, with forthcoming plans for ceramic coatings and similar protection enhancements in the coming months. You can reach them by phone at 269-465-0093.
