United Federal Credit Union (United) has appointed Adele Garcia Director of Product Development and Laura Campbell Director of Fraud Operation as based in Michigan.
Adele Garcia, Director of Product Development
Garcia brings more than 20 years of financial, marketing, and customer service experience to her new role with United. Most recently, she was Vice President of Lending and Marketing with BlueOx Credit Union.
In this position, Garcia will be responsible for the management of United’s deposit loan, and ancillary products for members, businesses and public entities. She will also establish a roadmap and strategy for products and services based on the organization’s business plan and financial targets.
Garcia is a United States Army and Michigan National Guard Combat Veteran. She also has a Master of Business with a concentration in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Business. She received her Certified Credit Union Executive accreditation from CUNA Management School.
Garcia is active in her community. She is currently a board member for the Allegan Education Foundation and a past member of the Allegan Rotary Club.
Laura Campbell, Director of Fraud Operation
Campbell has more than 10 years’ experience in risk management within the mortgage industry. Most recently, she spent three years as the Senior Director of Counterparty Risk with Home Point Financial.
In this role, Campbell will be responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and coaching to the United fraud staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. She will also ensure credit union assets are protected and fraud losses are minimized.
