United Federal Names New MI Market Vice President

There’s a new Market Vice President in the executive suite at United Federal Credit Union in St. Joseph and she brings a deep background in financial management to the team.

United Federal Credit Union has introduced members to Lisa Frohnapfel as Market Vice President in Michigan. She brings 27 years of financial management experience to United.

In her new role with United, Frohnapfel will lead the Michigan team in driving sales, service, and business development initiatives to achieve market growth, and will also lead the United Investment Planning program.

James Knight, United’s Chief Sales and Service Officer, says, “Lisa understands the community impact and value of credit unions,” and adds, “She has a proven track record of collaborating across business lines to exceed service and sales goals while growing and strengthening community relationships. We are excited to welcome her to our team and know our employees and members in Michigan will benefit from her leadership.”

Prior to joining United, Frohnapfel served positions within the credit union industry including Director of Branch Operations, Vice President of Operations, and most recently President/CEO of United Bay Community Credit Union in Michigan.

She holds a Master of Science degree with leadership and change management focus from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and leadership from Davenport University in Kalamazoo.

The role of Market Vice President was previously held by Emily Szymkiewicz who recently accepted the position of Vice President of Retail Operations at United.
